On Guard!!!

It is so important to transform your mind daily. It is biblical. You see, your mind is the only place the enemy can get a foothold in your life and he is always trying to get inside. That is why it is so important for us to be on guard. Guard your mind and thoughts and yourself and/or your situations. You want to make sure you keep your thoughts positive. I know it sounds a bit new age, but it is biblical. The word of God says... "whatever is right, noble, etc.... think on these things". What is going to bring forth a better affect... thinking on all that God has done for you and what He is doing in your life despite your situations or thinking about how hard it is and how the devil is picking on you. God is your strength. Be encouraged. Guard your mind. Now, this is one way for the enemy to attack our minds... by making us think about how bad things are going, but don't be niave to think that the enemy has only one way to attack the mind.

He also plays some reverse psychology on us when everything is going great! He builds up pride. Makes us slowly but surely start thinking that everything is going great because of what WE have done. We have to understand that anything that is good in us is from the Lord and because of the Lord. The word of God talks about how Lucifer (before he was cast out of heaven) was covered from head to toe with the finest of jews and stones. He was the closest to God and the most beautiful out of all the angels. The Bible also talks about how God is light and therefore there is no sun in heaven, but simply the light of the Almighty God. Now, what happens when you shine light through a beautiful diamond? You see some of the most magnificant colors created. As Lucifer was leading worship in heaven... the purest of all light from the Majestic God was shining through him. Now, the problem came when Lucifer started thinking that he was so beautiful all by himself... forgetting that it was the light of God shining through him that brought such a splendor. Thus, pride came in... the root of all sin.

Guard your mind. The enemy is alert and so we should be as well. Be encouraged and have a great day being CRAZY for Jesus!
