I'm trying to get use to this blog thing and sometimes I forget that I have one... I'm sorry. But great things are happening at Journey Church. During the summer time we assess where we are and where we want to be at the end of this upcoming school year. It is a great time to evaluate our goals. I have two main goals this summer. These are things we need to be praying for. One main goal is to develop a leadership team for the children's ministry. We are doing great where we are right now, but God has so much more in store for us as we partner together under the vision for Journey KIDS. I see what I want, but pray God shows me how to get it there. Also, we are praying for students as we recruit for our '07 - '08 Masters Commission Class. This past year has been great and has set a solid foundations for the following years to come. Pray for the potential students. They have a lot of decisions to make. For many of them, this is a leap of faith.
Great things are also happening in our family. It is official my family is definitely moving to Sallisaw. Everyone keep your eyes open for some houses. Dad would love some land. 40 acres would be ideal but is definitely not necessary. They are excited to slow there lives down a little and just enjoy their family. My brother, his wife, and child will also be moving. If anyone knows of any architecture firms that are hiring, please let me know. There is so much more, but I don't want to write a book... this is a blog. Stay tuned.
